After turning back from Mt Adams the week before because of bad weather we decided to try and hike Mt Jefferson, Adams and Madison in one day then hike the Wildcats the next day. Mt Adams and Jefferson are the second and third tallest mountains in the White Mountains. Originally the forecast wasn't great, but it ended up being a cold but clear day.

Michael, who we first ran into when he was going up Mt Jackson, between Adams and Madison we joined up and he offered to give us a ride to our car, which was a long way away at the time and we were running later than we originally expected.
