The Second Annual Blueberry Stumble - What happens when you mix massive amounts of sugar, hiking, drinking and explosions? Well I sure don't have to tell the other hikers that joined me for the second Blueberry Stumble! We hiked the same hike as last year, South and North Baldface, and just like last year it was a great time!

These picures that these thumbnails link to are reduced in size so they don't take up too much space, if you want the full version of any of these pictures just email me the picture number and I would be happy to send one or 2 of the full size images to you.

The first show of the day - the old mentos and coke trick. What did we learn? 2 Mentos works better than 1

nice!

I thought I was going to be able to photoshop the people in the back so that the brightness would be more even, sorry those of you in the back looks like I am not that good with Photoshop!

the group posing for a shot (got this one with a zoom lens)

pick those blueberries!

group shot at the top of Sounth Baldface

fresh whipped cream... mmm goes great with brownies and ice cream and chocolate and blueberries and fruit mix and pop tarts and maple syrup.... I know I am forgetting something, but you get the idea, lots of sugar!

Bill, a man with a plan

gotta have vanilla for the whipped cream

Paul, finishing off the last of the ice cream

ok what Emily is holding here is some Icelandic licorice candy, imagine if you will that some asshat decided to make licorice with ocean water, oh yea salty licorice, what could be more *gag* wonderful?

photo of the day

storm clouds were nearby, but we were spared the rain

there was a great swimming hole at the bottom called the Emerald Pool, and by great I mean maybe 45 or 50 degrees. When I jumped in I was tingeling all over!

these are best watched in series

You can come up with a crazy idea involving alcohol, hiking and sugar. You can drag ice cream up a mountain packed in dry ice so it doesn't melt. You can encourage crazy behaivior and silliness, but no matter what you do, without the right group it isn't great. A special thanks to all who attended this year's Stumble, you are a kick ass bunch and I am glad each and evey one of you was able to participate!
