On 5/10/2008 10 hikers set out to climb Mt Isolation, but the river crossings were too deep and there was still snow on the ground. 2 of us went on to summit that day, and we didn't finish hiking until 12:15 that night, the rest turned back. This hike was to get Michael Blair (MB), Monica and Spruce back up there. Unlike th last attempt, this time it took junt under 6 hours (moving time) to hike all 14 miles (actually slightly over 14 miles). The rivers were tame and the path clear, it was a great hike.

I wanted to climb this rock the first time I took this hike, but it was too late when the hike was done, this time I got to climb my rock... it is the little things in life.
