Andrew, Diane, Jeff (who on this hike became known as Spruce) and I hiked Kinsman North, Kinsman South, back to Kinsman North again, the over three of the Cannon balls, back down to Lonesome Lake. The hike was difficult, full of spruce traps and most of it felt like a bushwhack. It was my first time hiking with Andrew and Spruce and it was a great hike!

All day Jeff was falling into spruce traps while we were bushwhacking over the Cannon balls, I started calling him spruce because he fell into so many of the traps. Then he fell into this one, as tall as he was, I have never seen anything like it. His name is Spruce now!
