This was my second trip with the Random Group of Hikers, this time we decided to hike Mt Washington on the 4th of July. I would be glad to include other people's pictures from the hike, particularly the ones of the people that weren't with my subgroup.
Genevive, Alick and a view
Fil and Tuckerman's Ravine
If you look real close you can see some of the group on the left, this pictures was taken on the way down
Genevive and Tuckerman's Ravine
Dave is excited to be hiking Mt Washington
If Rich didn't show up this was the picture I was going to start showing to people to see if they had seen him
I tried to get shots of the group crossing the bridge
Laurie (and Rich behind the tree)
This is where Laurie, Rich and myself split from the group, it was a nice stream to climb around in and my inner monkey found it hard to resist. This is where the trouble began, after climbing around for a bit I decided it would be good to catch up with the group, Laurie and Rich wanted to go slower, so I split from them knowing that I was leaving Rich with Laurie who is a good hikier and knows Mt Washington, and ran to catch the group (running + backpack + mountain = ouch).
View of the below waterfall from the base

after catching the group and catching my breath I finally started taking pictures again
Emily (the dog) checking in

Alick, Genevive, Scott and Fil with a nice background
Same players, different order

I can just imagine Scott saying something like "these rocks never end! it's unbelieveable!"

Emily and floppy ears in the wind
Alick and Fil
Break for lunch, this is when Laurie cought up, Laurie and I were both surprised to find that Rich wasn't with the other, apparently he decided to catch me but missed the turn off for the Lion's Head trail.

Notice the snow in the picture on the left.
We ran into a couple of people and had an... interesting conversation, I didn't hear it myself so I won't quote it unless someone sends me the quote.
don't overlook the hikers in these pictures
I actually thought that gettin to the top was rather depressing with the parking lots and the gift shop, this is not why I like to hike.
And I actually got one picture of myself to take home!
Still going!
getting overcast and threatening rain
down we go!
Laurie and you can see Alick in the back in yellow
Because it wouldn't be a Random Hikers outing if Genevieve didn't injure herself
Happy faces while going down the mountain
Dave and Genevive doing... well I am not really sure
it started to rain, but at least we made it into the trees before it did
after the hike some of us went out for food, I still swear that was one of the best rubin sandwhiches I have ever had
There were a bunch of people that didn't get included in these pictures (mostly because they were just hiking ahead of the group).
On the way back my car got stuck in some terrible fog where we were only able to go 20 mph and I actually almost hit a moose (I almost got a picture of the moose, but I was too slow with the camera).
To those who went on the trip:
I would like to thank Dave for driving the last half half of the trip when I was falling asleep.
Laurie asked me to pass along her thanks for being kind and tolerant of Emily (the dog) and that it was nice to meet you all.
