Because we got in so late at night, the innskeeper gave us a great deal and upgraded our room for free. Quite nice compared to our first hotel room in Solothurn (see Day 1 pics).

Happy Birthday, Ashley, although we celebrated later on in the trip.

Our day's plans were to drive to the southwest corner of Northern Italy, Genoa.
