On our way to Venice, we were distracted by a cool castle, so of course we decided to stop and photograph it. It turns out that this is the area that is known for its white wine that we were looking for earlier (Soave). It also turns out that the best place to sample a wine is NOT the winery, but is a local enoteca. Which is what we did. We picked up a few bottles of wine, one of which we brought back to Boston.
