Welcome to Ashley & Pete's European vacation May, 2009. Initially we decided to take a trip to Northern Italy, then while looking at prices we found cheaper tickets with a layover in Spain or Switzerland. Then looking a little more we somehow came up with the idea to just fly in and out of Switzerland, rent a car and drive through the Alps into Italy, camping along the way, which is what we decided to do.

The first link for each day takes you through a sort of slideshow, showing a picture on each page and telling some stories along the way. You can get from one page to the next using the 'Next' and 'Pervious' links at the bottom of the page (note that you do have to click the actual word not just the box). The Thumbnails link is a link to thumbnails of all of the images.

It turns out that camping in Europe is very easy, I would highly reccomend it to anyone looking to travel and save money. All campgrounds had showers and at least a cafe, many had laundry, some even had swimming pools and other crazy stuff. This trip was incredible, we got to see a ton of things and had a lot of fun doing it. Originally we took almost 5000 pictures, so it took us quite a while to pick our favorites and sort them out. We can't wait to go back!
